Digging Day 1

After months of work getting aspects of the build organised, we've finally started digging today! Well, not us, but the very efficient John Wicks.
Last time John was here, the lane was slippery with snow, now it's slippery with very dry, fine soil!
Given the state of the 'meadow' at the top of the plot, where the garden will be, perhaps we need to borrow this chap from down the hill?
