Quite a tight squeeze for the concrete lorry...
Today is a significant day. After an enormous amount of digging out, including lots of solid granite, we've finally seen the first concrete pour on site. This is for the gabion retaining wall only, so there will be yet more digging for the house and garage foundations, but Salmon & Collett are cracking on, despite the very hard digging!
There are more photos and videos than you'll probably want to look at here, but this is mainly for our own record of the build.

And if seeing the first concrete pour wasn't exciting enough, today, Kier (on behalf of South West Water) have made the final connection to our water
supply so it's water, water everywhere and there is (more than) a drop to drink!
